A teenager has been sentenced after pleading guilty to robbing an 11-year-old boy and possessing a knife.
The 16-year-old boy, from Enfield, was handed a nine-month referral order and ordered to pay costs of £25 and a victim surcharge of £15 by Chelmsford Youth Court on Friday.
Another boy, 14, from Enfield, was bailed to appear at Chelmsford Magistrates’ Court on February 21.
He is accused of robbery, possession of a knife and criminal damage.
An 11-year-old boy was robbed of his iPhone 4 and case worth £130 in Brooker Road, Waltham Abbey, shortly before 5.30 pm on January 23.
