The trial date for a 21-year-old woman accused of arson was set this week.

Shaniece Rianne Allen of Fairlop Road in Leytonstone denies burning a bed in Rosebank Ward, a psychiatric facility at Mile End Hospital on December 28.

Allen will be tried at Thames Magistrate's Court on May 16 and has been remanded in custody until a review hearing on February 28.

She is also charged with assaulting Kerry Bradshaw on January 5 and Rasaq Bakare on January 7.
Both incidents are alleged to have occurred in the hospital.
