A specialist engineering school in Walthamstow has embraced National Science and Engineering Week this week.
Frederick Bremer School in Siddeley Road has put on a comprehensive programme of events and including marked the week with new artwork.
Artist Sarah Strang led a science and art workshop on Monday and created New Points of Reference with students, which was presented to headteacher Jenny Smith.
Other projects this week include Year 9 students working with water charity Thames 21 to explore river pollution and the school’s drainage system, and Year 10 students working with the University of East London to investigate hydroelectric power on the River Lea.
