A trial date has been set for a man accused of sending abusive tweets to Walthamstow MP Stella Creasy.
Peter Nunn, 33, of Emersons Green in Bristol, appeard at Westminster Magistrates’ Court yesterday, where he will go on trial on May 19.
He denies sending malicious communications to Ms Creasy and jounalist Caroline Criado-Perez during their successful campaign to include writer Jane Austen on a new £10 note.
He denies the charge.
