A man from Walthamstow has been arrested in connection with a stabbing on Thursday night.
A 20-year-old man was attacked in Higham Hill Road, at the junction with Gloucester Road.
Police have confirmed he suffered a single stab wound to his lower back as he walked from work at around 11pm.
The man was stabbed just yards from his place of work at the Co-Operative food store in Higham Hil Road.
Emergency services including London's Air Ambulance (LAA) arrived at the scene and he was taken to an east London hospital as a priority, with a doctor on board from the LAA.
The wound has stitched and he was discharged from hospital over the weekend.
Police arrested a 42-year-old man from the Walthamstow area on suspicion of grievous bodily harm the same day.
