A town celebrated its annual festival in fancy dress to commemorate its fallen servicemen.
Many Epping Town Festival goers enjoyed wartime exhibition, live music and attractions in First and Second World War period dress.
Visitors also had the chance to climb aboard the Tresor Paris bus, marvel at Epping Ongar Railway’s supercar and Copped Hall’s Rolls Royce, and explore a number of vintage military vehicles.
Epping Royal British Legion (RBL) raised £170 for the poppy appeal from visitors to Hemnall Social Club in Hemnall Street where there were three live acts and a display of wartime memorabilia.
John Duffel off the RBL in Epping said: “It went really well and we had a lot of visitors.
“It was good to see a lot of new faces at the event.”
A special remembrance service was also held at St John’s Church in St John’s Road for the town’s war dead.
