Friends and family of a former campsite warden are set to hold a summer fete to commemorate the first anniversary of his death.
Mike Hogan, former warden of Debden Campsite, died in September 2013 after a long battle with cancer.
Mr Hogan also volunteered for charity, Community Links, which works in deprived areas in the UK.
The charity will be holding the End of Summer fete in his memory.
The event on Monday will feature of a variety of fairground stalls, including a raffle, a tombola, sideshows, face painting and a bouncy castle.
Community Links co-founder Kevin Jenkins said: "Mike was a great guy, he always had a smile for everyone. He is very sadly missed.
"We hope to have nice weather and raise some money for the charity in Mike's memory."
The fete will be held at the Debden Campsite in Debden Green between 1pm and 4pm. All proceeds will go to Community Links charity.
