Tributes are pouring in for a teenage boy who died suddenly.

Karlysle Bryan, a 14-year-old student at Debden Park High School, died after collapsing in Debden Broadway in Loughton, in the early hours of Tuesday morning.

East of England Ambulance Service Trust confirmed that two ambulances were called to the scene at 5.25am following a 111 non-emergency call.

Paramedics later transferred the teenager to Whipps Cross Hospital in Leytonstone.

A message posted on the school's website said: "Tragically, yesterday, Karlysle Bryan in Year 10 sadly passed away.

"The death of a member of our community is an incredibly sad event and our thoughts are with his family and friends."

Students at the schools are being offered support from trained counsellors and are encouraged to talk to friends, family and staff.

Tributes were posted on Facebook page set up by family and friends, which described the teenager as “the brightest in the sky”.

Suzanne Rayner wrote: “We are not able to find any words for this sad, terrible news, only that we are so very sorry and very sad to hear this about such a lovely boy.

"They are a lovely family who we spent a few years living next to. My whole family are devastated as I am.  Our love, thoughts, and prayers go to Karlysle’s family and may God protect this special angel.”
