A date has been set for a decision on a proposal to transform a church hall into homes.
Redbridge council planners will decide whether to give the go-ahead to plans to convert the Victorian Holy Trinity Church hall, in South Woodford, next week.
If plans lodged last month are accepted, the Hermon Hill church will be converted into nine homes and a new hall will be built next door.
The plans were presented at a public meeting in July and led to a mixed response.
Reverend Robert Hampson said the work was long overdue as the hall, built in 1889, was “falling apart”.
The decision will be made at 7.15pm on Thursday at Redbridge town hall in Ilford.
