Chelmsford Magistrates court where Jonathon Bates will appear
A man who denies two counts of assault on the same woman will appear at Chelmsford Magistrates Court today.
Jonathon Bates, 47, of Seven Sisters Road, is charged with assault by beating and common assault at an address in Waltham Abbey.
He pleaded not guilty to the alleged incidents occuring on October 2 and November 28 at the first hearing in December.
The trial will start today.
