People are invited to join the national minute’s silence to remember the victims of last week’s tragic terror attacks in Tunisia, France and Kuwait.

Proceedings will be led council leader Chris Robbins and Cllr Saima Mahmud, Mayor of Waltham Forest and will be held at the flagpole outside the Town Hall in Forest Road, at noon this Friday (July 3). 

Council leader Chris Robbins said: "These attacks have tragically claimed the lives of dozens of innocent people, all of whom are in our thoughts. Our deepest condolences go out to all of the families and friends who lost loved ones."

People are advised to be in position by 11.55am at the latest but no parking will be provided.
