A teenage boy has been arrested following a stabbing in Walthamstow which left a man in hospital with serious injuries.
The boy, 17, was arrested following an incident in Shernhall Street, at around 2.30pm on Thursday, July 14.
Police who arrived at the scene found a man, aged in his 20s, suffering from stab wounds to his leg and chest.
London Ambulance Service, who also attended, treated the man before he was taken to an east London hospital in a serious but stable condition.
Shernhall Street remained closed for several hours while police conducted investigations at the scene, before being reopened to traffic at around 7.45pm.
The boy arrested in connection with the incident was held by police, before being released on bail until September.
