Crostyx men's firsts were held to a 1-1 draw at home to Bedford seconds.

The visitors opened the scoring before half time but Crostyx responded in the second half and Jack Burke rescued a deserved draw for the hosts.

It was not the start they were looking for as the team conceded early on in the first half against the run of play.

But the visitors cancelled out the goal in the second half when Vicky Berrill netted a solo effort.

Hertford regained the lead before Crostyx responded once more through a drag flick from Alys Rowland.

Crostyx kept pushing forward and were rewarded with the winner when Laura Feldman set up Rowland for the crucial goal to clinch the points.

The ladies seconds eased to a 4-0 win over East London seconds.

Carrie Custis got the finishing touch on the first goal before Amber Preston deflected in the second.

It was 3-0 when Chantal Pampellonne raced through to score and Ciara Newell rounded off the victory.
