Leyton Orient head coach Ian Hendon insists he is not worried by their five-match winless run in League Two and believes a victory is coming.

The O's suffered a 2-1 home defeat to Carlisle United as they tumbled down to fifth in the table. But Hendon is adamant a win is around the corner for his side.

He said: "We've had a fantastic start to the season and if we'd said at the start this is where we'd be after ten games I think we'd all taken it.

"The last month's been very difficult but the performances are there so it doesn't worry me that much. The win will be coming soon."

Hendon added: "I haven't seen the stats but I'd like to have a look at how many crosses we got in in the game, how many opportunities we had and shots on goal we had. It's not to do with the formation. For me at the moment it's simply the rub of the green.

"I know Ollie's [Palmer] had a great chance first half. Jay's [Simpson] had a chance on the edge of the box and missed the target. We've hit the woodwork three times. What more can we do? It's just not going in at the moment, it's as simple as that."

During the second half, visiting manager Keith Curle and O's assistant boss Andy Hessenthaler were sent from the dugout following a touchline altercation. But Hendon was surprised Curle only chose to move several rows back into the home stand.

Hendon said: "Keith and I were having a couple of words. I was following the game and then I looked round and Andy and Keith were having words and a couple of their staff got up and joined in as well. The next thing the referee came over.

"I shall be going in to find out what's going on. All I know is my assistant manager went up top where he was meant to go and their manager continued to coach from behind the dugout. I'm not sure what happens with that."
