Redbridge slumped to their 11th consecutive defeat after losing 4-1 at Tilbury in Isthmian Division One North last night.

Emiel Aikin opened the scoring for the hosts before Kurt Smith headed in the second goal.

It was 3-0 when Harry Cook beat the offside trap to score and the visitors were reduced to 10 men when Sam Williams was sent off for dissent.

Connor Mead was also sent off for Tilbury shortly after Smith netted his second of the game. The Motormen scored a late consolation through Daniel Jones.

Redbridge were also thumped 5-0 at Cray Wanderers on Sunday.

The Motormen fell behind when Ben Payne headed home the opening goal of the game six minutes before the break.

It got even worse three minutes later when Karl Dent neatly slotted home to put the hosts in command.

Redbridge almost got on the scoresheet through Timi Dorgu but he was unable to get the final touch to steer the ball home.

Cray made it 3-0 when a free-kick enabled substitute Ray Powell to head the ball home.

With five minutes left the home side scored again when Powell fired past goalkeeper Jack Avery.

A miserable afternoon was completed late on when Dent scored again to round off the victory for Wanderers.

Waltham Abbey suffered a 1-0 defeat a Wroxham in their latest league match.

Wroxham made a strong start to the contest and were unlucky to see Nathan Stone’s fierce strike rebound off Anthony Page’s crossbar.

Abbey almost grabbed the lead when Piers Wixon struck the post before bouncing to safety.

Stone put the ball in the net but his effort was ruled out for offside. But just before the break the hosts took the lead when Jack Garrod fired the ball home.

Abbey almost equalised but Tom Wood’s shot was superbly saved by Elliot Pride as Wroxham held on.
