London Raiders were unable to build on last weekend's victory over Cardiff Devils on Sunday evening as they went down 6-2 at Milton Keynes Thunder.
Having picked up their second win of the National Ice Hockey League South 1 season in Wales last weekend, Alan Blyth's side were unable to build any further momentum on Sunday evening.
Already dealt the frustrating blow of seeing Saturday evening's cup fixture against Chelmsford Chieftains cancelled as match officials had not been assigned to the fixture, the Raiders ended the first period 2-1 down.
Simon Howard put the hosts in front before Marek Nahlik levelled, only for Thomas Castle hit back twice.
Frankie Harvey made it 3-2 but that was as good as it got for the Raiders.
Three goals in quick succession from Ross Bowers, Howard and Jamie Line clinched the win for Milton Keynes.
