Edimilson Fernandes made his international debut as Switzerland overcame the Faroe Islands 2-0 in their World Cup qualifier yesterday.
The West Ham United man replaced Valentin Stocker after 69 minutes of the victory which maintained his country’s 100 per cent start to qualification.
The 20-year-old’s involvement caps an impressive run of form which has seen him feature regularly for the Hammers over the past month.
