David Caulfied

Published on 18/07/2013

David Caulfield 24th December 1961 - 25th June 2013 Lived his life the way he wanted and made the best of what he had. His personality shone and he had a beautiful smile. He didn't like to see anyone upset and tried to sort things out for them. He hardly ever had a frown. Our best memories are growing up in Walthamstow in the Higham Hill Road area in the 60's 70's and early 80's. This is where David introduced me to my long term friend Elaine Sargeant who was also my brother's friend. These days hold my best memories. He was very well known in the Priory Court Club where he was a fantastic pool player and won quite a few trophies. In 1983 David met Jill and they married. They went on to have twin boys, Nicky and Lee in 1992. They have grown up to be wonderful boys to Jill but sadly Jill and Dave broke up in 1995. The boys were 21 the day before David was laid to rest. David introduced me to my partner in 1983 at the Higham Hill Tavern. We have 3 sons, Terry 32, Danny 23 and Tommy 21 and a daughter Rosie-Ann 9. I will miss my brother so much and so will his mother Mavis as he was her only son. David is laid to rest in a quiet beautiful place in Scotland where he had lived for four years and where he leaves his son Billy aged 9 months. We wish we hadn't had to turn this page as our lives will never be the same. An Ode to David: Blue eyes, a cheeky grin a face to remember no-one could ever replace him. Your heart would melt, when he smiled or waved I'm so very proud he was my brother Dave. Love Sharon, Mum Mavis, Sons and family xxxxx
