Hertfordshire County Council THE HERTFORDSHIRE (TEMPORARY CLOSING OF WAGON ROAD, BARNET) ORDER 2018
NOTICE is given that the Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section
14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all traffic from using that length of
Wagon Road, Barnet from a point 1037 metres south east of its junction with A1000 Barnet
Road south eastwards for a distance of approximately 25 metres (“the Road”), except for access.
An alternative route will be via Wagon Road, A1000 (Barnet Road/Great North Road/ Hadley
Highstone), Drury Road, Hadley Green Road, Hadley Common, Camlet Way, Beech Hill, A111
Cockfosters Road and Wagon Road.
The Order is needed because the installation of an emergency services mast is proposed to
be executed on or near the Road.
The Order has been made and shall come into force on 30 April 2018 for a period of up to
18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated
by signs on or near the Road.
A copy of the Order may be inspected free of charge at County Hall, Hertford between the
hours of 9.00am and 5.00pm (excluding weekends, bank and public holidays).

THE HERTFORDSHIRE (TEMPORARY CLOSING OF LONDON ROAD, SHENLEY/SILVER HILL,
WELL END) ORDER 2018
NOTICE is given that the Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section
14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all traffic from using that length of
London Road, Shenley/Silver Hill, Well End from its junction with B5378 Woodhall Lane south
eastwards to its junction with High Canons (“the length of Roads”), a distance of approximately
1832 metres, except for access.
An alternative route will be via B5378 (Woodhall Lane/Green Street/Cowley Hill/Shenley Road),
A5135 (Elstree Way/Rowley Lane), Rowley Lane and Well End Road.
The Order is needed because sewer maintenance works are proposed to be executed on or
near the length of Roads.
The Order has been made and shall come into force on 29 April 2018 for a period of up to
18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated
by signs on or near the length of Roads.
A copy of the Order may be inspected free of charge at County Hall, Hertford between the
hours of 9.00am and 5.00pm (excluding weekends, bank and public holidays).
