WALTHAM FOREST: Video project set to record 'Olympic memories'

WALTHAM Forest is set to feature in a video project by artist Simon Pope.

On November 7, Mr Pope will carry out a 'memory marathon', walking 26 miles through the five Olympic boroughs, gathering memories of 'Olympic moments' from local residents.

He will trace a route through historic film locations and the resulting film will be shown around the Olympic boroughs.

More than 100 people are set to take part in the project, which is intended to be a portrait of modern east London.
