LEADING fiddle player Tom McConville plays Walthamstow's Ye Olde Rose and Crown on Sunday (March 27).

The gig is hosted by Walthamstow Folk Club, who describe him as “A virtuoso musician and fantastic singer, his rich and warm voice makes his interpretation of traditional and contemporary songs greatly admired by singers throughout the world.”

Entry is £6, or £5 for concessions.

The show is in the pub's upstairs theatre room and doors open at 7.30pm.

YES tribute band Fragile play the Standard Music venue on Saturday (March 26).

Doors are at 8pm and it costs £10.

Waltham Abbey Folk Club hosts a Singaround jam night on Monday (March 28).

It costs £1.50p and doors open at 8.30pm.

The club is located at the Royal British Legion HQ in Brooker Road.

Anna Shannon plays Loughton Folk Club on Thursday (March 24).

She is a multi-instrumentalist who has received praise for her “honest” voice.

Entry is £3, with a £1 discount for club members.

The event is at the Loughton Club in Station Road and doors open around 8pm.

Folk blues duo Loretta play the North Star pub in Leytonstone on Thursday (March 24).

Comprised of Dylan Walshe and Glenn Hodge, this twosome are influenced by the likes of Leadbelly, Sonny Boy Williamson and Mississippi John Hurt.

The gig starts at 8pm and is hosted by promoters What's Cookin'.

Support comes from The Glorification, an old-timey country and bluegrass act.

Entry is free although donations for the bands are welcome.

All Against Nothing headline an unsigned rock band night at the Square in Harlow.

Support comes from The Gavels and Lonely Bird.

It costs £4 on the door, or is free for Square members.

The show starts at 8pm and entry is over 16s only.
