THE Rockin' Gold Stars return to the College Arms in Walthamstow for another storming gig this Saturday (February 26).
The trio, who play 50s and 60s style rock n' roll, will perform at the pub, which is situated near Waltham Forest College in Forest Road, from around 9pm.
Entry is free.
The “poignant and hilarious” songs of Dennis Homes will be ringing around the Loughton Club in Station Road this Thursday (February 24) at an evening held in aid of charity the Altzheimer's Society.
Entry is £3 and there will also be a raffle.
The gig, organised by Loughton Folk Club, gets going around 8pm.
Funky rock dudes Caboose headline the Standard in Walthamstow this Thursday (February 24).
Support comes from Mug, D-Railed and Funding George.
The night is organised by unsigned band promoters Club Bus Wind and doors open around 8pm.
Entry is £5 with a band flyer or £6 without.
Tribute act Ozzie plays the Blackhorse Lane venue on Friday (February 25). Entry is £9 and doors are at 8pm.
On Saturday (February 26) it's the turn of One Step Behind. Admission is £10 and doors are at eight.
Entertainer and Cockney music hall expert John Foreman is the guest of Walthamstow Folk Club this Sunday night (February 27).
The show, at Ye Olde Rose and Crown in Hoe Street, Walthamstow, starts at 7.30pm.
Entry is £6 or £5 for concessions.
Bosa Nova band Los Otros play the pub's main bar next Tuesday (March 1). It's free and starts at 8pm.
Then on Wednesday (March 2) it's Open Mic night at the pub, hosted by Graham Larkbey and friends.
All styles and performers welcome, plus entry is free. It gets going at 8.30pm but participants are encouraged to arrive by 9.45pm to be sure of securing a spot.
