IT'S St Patrick's Day this Saturday (March 17) and a number of pubs are hosting live music to celebrate.
They include the Artisan in Hall Lane, Chingford, which hosts The Runaways from 8.30pm, and O'Neill's in Leytonstone which has a variety of acts from 4pm until late.
But if Guinness-fuelled music isn't your thing, there's a host of other shows up and down the land.
Up in Essex, Jinski are the guests of Loughton Folk Club this Thursday (March 15).
These guys play passionate original songs about tales of love, joy, loneliness and longing.
Entry is £3 and doors are at 8pm.
It's at the Loughton Club in Station Road.
In east London, the modern and tasteful Matt Ridley Quartet play Walthamstow Cricket Club courtesy of the the E17 Jazz collective next Wednesday (March 21).
It's £5 and starts at 8.30pm.
The club is in Greenway Avenue and you don't have to be a member to attend.
Meanwhile the talented Louise Jordan is the guest of Walthamstow Folk Club on Sunday (March 18).
The singer-songwriter, who plays both piano and guitar, is currently on her second UK tour promoting her debut album Tempvs.
Admission is £6, or £5 for concessions.
Doors are at 7.30pm and the gig is at Ye Olde Rose and Crown pub in Hoe Street.
Jespa play Lost Horizons's night at the Birkbeck Tavern in Langhtorne Road, Leytonstone, on Friday (March 16).
Support comes from a quartet of solo singer-songwriters including James O'Hara-Knight, Louis Gilman, George Gilman and Will O'Donogue.
It costs a bargain £3 and doors are at 7pm for an 8pm start.
Leyton Orient fanatic and politically-minded Steve White and his band The Protest Family bring their brand of folk punk to the Birkbeck on Saturday (March 17).
It starts around 8pm.
Then on Sunday (March 18) the rocking Country Dirt band take to the stage at the Leytonstone pub.
The night is organised by promoters What's Cookin' and gets going around 6pm.
A busy few days for the Birkbeck is rounded off on Wednesday (March 21) with another What's Cookin' show featuring country-blues act The Dirt Daubers.
The tunes begin flowing at 8.30pm and entry is free, although donations welcome.
