Charlie crowned under-21 world karate champion

ST JOHN’S is very proud of one of its Year 11 students, Charlie Collins.
Charlie is the newly-crowned under-21 world champion in karate (section 15-17 cadets, over 75 kilos).
Charlie achieved two gold medals, one individual and one team kata, along with a bronze medal at the recent World Championships which were held in Brazil.
Our congratulations go out to Charlie for this fantastic achievement.
