THE popular radio programme Any Questions? will be coming to Leyton next month.

The Radio 4 show, hosted by Jonathan Dimbleby, will be broadcast live from the Score building, which is managed by O-Regen, in Oliver Road on Good Friday, April 6.

Any Questions? is a debate in which audience members ask a panel of famous people, including high-profile politicians, questions about topical issues.

The show has been running for nearly 60 years and is broadcast live every Friday evening from 8pm and repeated on Saturdays at 1pm.

Cllr Miranda Grell, who represents Leyton, invited the Any Questions? team to her ward and they accepted the invitation.

Cllr Grell said: "I am absolutely delighted that Radio 4 has chosen to broadcast from Leyton.

"Despite what people from other parts of the country may think, we are a vibrant community with plenty to say. It will be great to have local people sharing their views with the nation."

Several audience tickets will be up for grabs on a first-come, first-served basis on the night.

People can also apply for tickets (two per person) in advance by calling 8496 4157 or emailing ceciliad.williams@walthamforest.gov.uk
