BLACK South African musicians are sought to lend authentic flavour to a fundraising day in aid of sick children.
Elena Utton, a trustee of local charity One Life, is organising the day to help realise her misson to raise money to help feed, clothe and educate children who are suffering malnourishment or who have HIV.
Having just raised £2,000 in a sponsored walk, she now plans to follow on with a sale of arts and crafts at the Methodist Church Hall, New Road, Chingford, on November 3.
Mrs Utton, of Alpha Road, Chingford, spends about a month each year in the Nseleni region of South Africa, working in development projects for local children, many of whom are affected by the AIDS virus.
