Students and lecturers at Waltham Forest College celebrated this year’s BTEC Level 3 Extended Diploma results.

Student Benjamin Donkoh achieved a triple star distinction in IT and will now be going on to Greenwich University where he will be studying towards becoming a business system analyst.

Urszula Bankiewicz, 19, believes her triple star distinction in public services is a further stepping stone in her path dream to becoming a police officer. 

She said: “As an international student whose English needed to be improved, I found great support and kindness from members of staff who were very understanding towards my educational needs. I even had extra English lessons to help improve my communication skills.”

Wilza Felisbia achieved tops marks in her BTEC Level 3 Extended Diploma in Art and Design. She has now secured a place at Westminster University to study architecture.

She said: “There was always someone available to help me. My teachers and career advisors were very friendly and always there for me."

Principal and chief executive Robin Jones, said: “I am extremely proud of our students’ achievements this year and wish them every success with future endeavours.”
