Karate talents from Leytonstone performed impressively at the EKO National Championships in Birmingham.
The youngsters from East London School of Karate earned top three placings, including Sara Khan, who came first in the ten to 16-year-old girls Kumite (sparring) section and Ketan Gondhia, who won the senior men’s 16 years old and above Kata (prearranged techniques) section.
Kurran Gondhia came third in the ten to 16-year-old boys Kumite (sparring) section, while Jimmy Hawkins also finished third in the Under-16 Kumite (sparring) section.
