Leyton Orient boss dismisses reports linking Moses Odubajo with Tottenham Hotspur
Leyton Orient boss Russell Slade has dismissed reports linking talented winger Moses Odubajo with a January move to Tottenham Hotspur.
The O's manager scotched these rumours and insisted there has been no contact from anyone this season regarding the 20-year-old.
Slade said: “Moses is a good young player but I’ve no idea where that has come from. I’ve not spoken to any other managers about him this season.”
Meanwhile, the League One leaders had an unexpected visitor recently when Arsenal striker Olivier Giroud turned up at the club.
The forward was not pressing for a move to the East Londoners but instead wanted to introduce his friend from France for a trial.
It is understood the midfielder had played in the French second division and was 32 but the club are not expected to offer him a deal.
