Westhamians moved up to third in Division One of the Olympian League after a 3-2 away win at Springfield.

Charlie Bland (2) and Daniel Wheeler grabbed the Westhamian goals. Springfield score twiced themselves via Orrie Rock and Paul Tiffen.

It was the only game in the division to be played but it was significant as Springfield are now only one place above their opponents due to a better goal difference.

Lakeside boosted their Division Two promotion hopes after an entertaining 7-4 win over Basildon Town.

This was never likely to be a low-scoring game seeing as Lakeside boasted the firepower of Billy Smith, while Basildon had potent strikers Marcus Bowers and Reece Conway to call upon.

All were able to get on the scoresheet with Billy Smith adding four goals to bring his tally for the season up to 13. Lewis Smith chipped in with a brace and Lee Atkinson completing the Lakeside scoring.

Bowers netted twice for Town, with Conway and Danny Lee-Wilkins also finding the net.
