West Ham are reportedly poised to snap up 6ft 8in Ivory Coast forward Lacina Traore on loan.

Traore has joined Monaco from Russian club Anzhi Makhachkala but the Daily Mail is reporting he has agreed to move to Upton Park after the French outfit opted to send the striker out on loan until the end of the season.

The 23-year-old has cost more than £26m in transfer fees, having also played for FC Cluj and Kuban Krasnodar, but Traore has yet to have a medical and will also need a work permit before he can link up with Sam Allardyce’s side.
