West Ham United have been linked with a move for Manchester United full-back Alexander Buttner.
The 24-year-old Dutchman has not featured for United since moving to Old Trafford 18 months ago, failing to win favour under both Sir Alex Ferguson and David Moyes.
Sam Allardyce's West Ham team have been plagued by injuries this season leaving them struggling for goals and leaking too many at the back.
