West Ham United are close to agreeing a loan deal for Wolverhampton Wanderers defender Roger Johnson.
The centre-back has spent the first half of the campaign on loan at Championship club Sheffield Wednesday but returned to Wolves last week.
The Irons have a number of defensive injuries and Sam Allardyce looks set to bolster his squad with the signing of the 30-year-old.
Johnson began his career with Wycombe Wanderers before joining Cardiff in 2006. He moved to Birmingham City in 2009 before switching to Wolves two years later.
