Leyton Orient have signed former Barnsley and Scunthorpe United striker Chris Dagnall on an 18-month contract.

The O's have been looking for an experienced striker and have brought in the 27-year-old following his release by Barnsley.

Dagnall started off his career at Tranmere and has since had spells with Rochdale, Scunthorpe United, Barnsley, Bradford City and Coventry City.

His most successful club was Rochdale where he netted 60 goals in 142 starts.

Dagnall will go straight into the squad for the O's trip to Crewe this weekend.
