Scott Cuthbert is in the running for League 1 player of the month: Simon O'Connor
Leyton Orient defender Scott Cuthbert and manager Russell Slade have been nominated for League 1 monthly awards.
Cuthbert netted for the O's in their win over Carlisle United and is up against Peterborough United's Nicky Ajose, Brentford's Marcello Trotta and Rotherham United's James Tavernier for the player of the month.
Slade guided Orient to four wins out of four during January and could win the award for the second time this season after scooping it in August. He is up against Brentford's Mark Warburton, Walsall's Dean Smith and Colchester United's Joe Dunne in the manager of the month competition.
