Leyton Orient will look to get their promotion push back on track this weekend when they travel to rivals Preston.

The O's have fallen to three consecutive defeats in League 1 and are now only five points above fourth placed Preston having played a game more.

Orient are boosted by the availability of Eldin Jakupovic after the Hull City keeper returned on loan yesterday.

Defender Elliot Omozusi’s calf injury will keep him out of Orient’s trip to Preston North End this weekend but manager Russell Slade is hopeful striker Kevin Lisbie will shake off a back problem, picked up in the midweek defeat to Bristol City, to feature at Deepdale.

Slade said: “I’m sure Preston will be rubbing their hands. That’s our third defeat on the bounce and I’m sure they will be looking forward to entertaining us on Saturday.

"But we’ll go there, roll our sleeves up and if we can perform like we did in the second period against Bristol City then we won’t be far away.”

Orient have conceded seven goals in the last three games and Slade knows they will have to improve their defending if they are to win promotion this season.

He said: "They are not goals you want to be conceding if you want to be in the shout for a slot in the Championship. You can’t concede goals like that.”
