The East London Boxing Academy will have three fighters gunning for the chance to represent England at the ABAE Schoolboy Championships, which start this weekend.
Ishmail Qureshi will be competing in the Under-13 competition while Patrick Maugaun and Habib Akaram will both be battling it out in the next age group up, the Under-14s.
The trio all train at the Walthamstow club and coach Umer Ali Iqbal believes all three have a chance of clinching the title.
“I feel all three boys have been training hard and are dedicated to the sport – they all have a good chance to win a title,” he said.
“The Academy has been going from strength to strength in the last year and our entrants show the vast range of boys we have.”
He added: “The boys have been working hard and are really keen. All three have the potential to achieve national glory.”
