East London Runners had three competitors in the top 100 at the sixth race of the Chingford League at Victoria Park on Saturday.

Patrick Brown led the way for the Wanstead-based club, finishing seventh in a time of 27.02 while Lee Wollaston came 73rd in 32.00.

Peter Hatley was the third man to make the top 100 as he came 95th in 33.12 and soon after was Mohammed Aklaqul-Ambea in 103rd (33.39).

Emma Fitzgibbon was five places back with 33.52 and close behind was Grant Conway and Celia Payaneeandee in 131st and 132nd respectively with a time of 35.31.

James Creed (36.56), Lee Neville (38.13), Fiona Day (38.14) and Sheila Kennedy (39.47) all made the top 200. Diana Rexhepaj was just outside with 46.44.

Steven Bywater and Natalie Lee both completed half marathons on Sunday.

Bywater polished off the Baldock Beast multi-terrain event in 1.52.14, which was enough to see him come 189th, while Lee recorded 1.56.22 in Brighton.

Mark Boulton marked the perfect debut at the Hackney Marshes parkrun on Saturday by finishing first in a time of 18.17.

Russell Price (23.05) came 24th while Neville, who was warming up for his Chingford League race later on, achieved his course personal best with 23.28 for 26th place.

At the Wanstead Flats parkrun Derek Wright and Maud Hodson finished seventh and 13th respectively. Wright stopped the clock on 23.13 while Hodson registered 25.33.
