Frenford Senior are breathing down the neck of table-toppers Southminster St Leonards after beating Newbury Forest 1-0 on Saturday.

Southminster's lead over second-place Frenford is now only two points after Brad Foley's goal dispatched with Forest.

A goalless draw at Hannakins Farm meant that Southminster only took a point from the weekend.

The top two go head-to-head next Saturday in a title decider.

At the other end of the table White Ensign and Manford Way drew 1-1.

Hamid Zamani scored for Ensign before Teddy Watson replied for Manford Way.

Ensign remain in the bottom two, but have a game in hand on Harold Hill, who are just a point ahead.

Harold Hill lost 2-1 to Kelvedon Hatch, who remain fourth with six games in hand on third-place Bishops Stortford Swifts.

Chris Neville and Andrew Thompson scored the Kelvedon goals.

Wadham Lodge beat Harold Hill beat 2-1 to ease their relegation worries.

Bobby Dwayne scored twice for Wadham, with Dave Reynolds netting for Hill.

Rayleigh Town beat third-place Bishops Stortford Swifts 3-0.

Luke Wilson bagged twice, with Peter Beaumont weighing in with the third as Rayleigh moved up to sixth.

May & Baker EC won 2-1 at Buckhurst Hill.

The visitors scored through James Lindie and Steven Johnson.

Division One

Benfleet were relegated after a 2-1 defeat against Galleywood when they only needed a point to ensure their survival.

Josh Cooper got the Benfleet goal, with Tom Lakin and Craig Wilson the Galleywood scorers.

Old Southendian beat Old Chelmsfordians 3-2.

Division Three

Champions Rochford Town thumped Leytonstone United 9-2 with Nathan Dewberry scoring six.

Daniel Barrington scored twice and Jamie Salmon once to add to Dewberry's six-goal haul.

Alemite Athletic were also big winners, beating Forest Glade 6-1.

Enyam Grant scored Glade's consolation in a defeat which ensures they will finish second bottom.
