Steed wins Woodford Golf Club June medal
Aiden Steed won the Woodford Golf Club June medal on Saturday.
Steed won with a nett score of 71, from a handicap of 11, to beat Rob Ellis.
Nick Rowe came third on a count-back with a total of 72.
The Division Two prize was won by Steve Bland, who shot a nett score of 67.
Brian Meggs came in second with a score of 68 and Keith Money came third with 71.
In the seniors' section, Anthony Weaver claimed the June medal with 38 stableford points.
Rowe was runner-up on this occasion, also winning the prize for the nearest pin drive on the ninth.
The best front nine score belonged to John Walker, who scored 19 points.
