Fourth XI Premier Division

Buckhurst Hill Fourths were five-wicket winners at home to Chingford Fourths.

Put into bat first, the visitors were bowled out for a paltry 89.

Twenty from tail-ender Usman Mirza went some of the way to delaying the inevitable as Nadeem Yusuf took three for 19.

The hosts made hard work of reaching their total of 93, with five wickets lost on route to victory.

Naomal Wijesooriya top-scored with 22 and Ashley Brand hit an unbeaten 17.

Raja Farhan took three for ten for Chingford.

Woodford Green Thirds lost at home to Leigh on Sea Thirds by four wickets.

The hosts won the toss and decided to open the batting, hitting 149 before being bowled out.

Jack Cossey top-scored with a half-century and Amish Patel added 28 to the total.

Joshal Patel was the visitors’ top wicket-taker, claiming four for 25 and was assisted by Jess Dyos (three for 14).

Leigh reached 153 for four in reply, Peter Collis leading the way with an unbeaten 57.

Christopher Sharp was unbeaten on 38, easing the visitors to the win.

Fourth XI Division One

Fives and Heronians Fourths lost by five wickets at home to Orsett Fourths.

Bowled out for a disappointing 103, the hosts’ top-scorer was Andre Byfield (24).

Jamie Stock (four for 23) and Connor Ramm (three for 33) were the stand-out Orsett bowlers.

The visitors only needed 28.5 overs to reach a winning total of 107, losing just four wickets along the way.

Paul Howlett hit 35 with Viraj Gandhi finishing with two for 13.

Oakfield Parkonians Thirds drew at home against Ilford Fourths after failing to claim the final wicket.

The hosts won the toss and elected to bat, posting a competitive total of 214 before being bowled out.

In reply, the visitors were at 194 for nine but Parks could not secure the decisive final wicket to claim the victory.

Fourth XI Division Two

Epping Thirds lost by four wickets at Billericay Fourths.

The hosts won the toss and invited Epping to bat, with the visitors making 219 for eight.

Dave Knight hit 87 and Uwais Shah added a knock of 35 as Epping posted a reasonable total.

Harvey Moyne, Mark Mayhook and Santosh Mehrota each took two wickets for Billericay.

Stan Foley made 29 in reply for the hosts but they were struggling until Simon Levi’s unbeaten 109, eventually they finished on 223 for six.
