The Leyton Orient Trust have teamed up with African Adventures to offer supporters the opportunity to travel to Ghana in May.

From Tuesday, May 26 to Sunday, June 7, the Leyton Orient Trust team will spend ten nights working in schools in Woe, a deprived rural coastal area of South Eastern Ghana.

The trip aims to raise funds for the Leyton Orient Trust, whilst supporting African Adventures’ partner projects in Ghana and providing fans with a life-changing experience.

The money raised for the Leyton Orient Trust will help fund developing the Clapton Orient World War One education project.

African Adventures works with community projects in developing areas of the continent. Volunteers of all ages are welcome but under-16’s must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

There will also be an adventure weekend with a visit to Cape Coast and Kakum national rainforest.

All aspects of the trip will be organised by African Adventures and the Leyton Orient Trust, including fundraising support.

There will be a presentation of the trip on Saturday, September 6 at 1.30pm at the Matchroom Stadium.
