Leyton Orient boss Russell Slade described their shock 1-0 win at Aston Villa as "another great night for the football club".

The O's dumped the Premier League side out of the Capital One Cup at Villa Park after a late header from substitute Romain Vincelot.

Slade said: "I'd like to think over the four and a half years I've been here we've had some great nights.

"We've had the Arsenal game which was a terrific cup tie and it's another great night for the football club, it really is.

"I think it's something like 40 years since we've played Aston Villa in any competition so to come here to a place with great tradition and get a result is a wonderful feeling for everybody."

The O's manager added: "The important thing is we don't get carried away with it and go into our league fixtures and have a long journey to Fleetwood in the north west on Saturday. That has to be our priority now."
