Premier Division

Wadham Lodge are one of the division’s early-season pace-setters and picked up their fourth consecutive win by beating Newbury Forest 3-2.

Forest - who won last season’s Essex Premier Cup - find themselves second from bottom after defeat.

Reece Cosson scored twice and Harry Honesty got a third for Wadham Lodge, who move into second place as a result.

Buckhurst Hill were defeated 4-2 at home to Bishop’s Stortford Swifts. Sam Cooper and a Swifts’ own-goal were the scorers for Buckhurst.

Meanwhile, Anthony James bagged a brace, with further goals from Charlie Pollard and Dan McAteer for the Swifts.

Division One

Ongar Town and Galleywood played out a goalless draw, with both sides yet to score or concede having played in two stalemates at this early stage.

Division Two

Snaresbrook are second in the table after edging a nine-goal thriller against Toby 5-4.

Harry Brown scored a brace, with Daniel Tesfay, Junior Dentele and Stephen McCormack all registering for Snaresbrook in an end-to-end encounter.

LOASS emerged with the bragging rights from their local derby with Ryan FC, winning 5-1 to claim their first three points of the season.

A hat-trick from Daniel Bondzie did the bulk of the damage, with George Bacon and Milosz Kwolok also getting in on the act.

Mostafa Alavi scored Ryan’s consolation goal.

Division Three

Epping were on the right end of a home walkover in their clash against Leytonstone United.

Senior Division Cup

Roydon were knocked out by Westhamians, with Danny Downer and Dane Willis both on the scoresheet for the victors.

Greengate are the early leaders after a resounding 8-0 victory at Woodbridge on the opening day of the season.

Sonny Read was in imperious form, finishing with a hat-trick, whilst Jamie Jenkins (2), Daniel Smith, Marc McLean and Kurt Smith all scored to pile on the misery.

Warren United were also big winners on the road, winning 5-1 at West Thurrock.

James Peagram helped himself to a brace, whilst Charlie Peagram scored too. Lewis Webb and substitute James Dawkins also found the back of the net.

Morfdown Elect began their campaign in the best possible fashion, winning 2-1 at home to Coral; Matthew Peacock getting the visitors’ consolation goal.

Chingford Celtic are in third place after a comfortable 3-1 victory at Romford Elite.

Division One

Warren United Reserves are top of the table after running riot at home to Alliance United - winning 9-2.

There were hat-tricks for both Patrick Laderman and Thomas Metcalfe, whilst Dominic Sweeting, Stephen Sylvain and Patrick Downer all chipped in.

Luke Sewell and Jamie Rump were the Alliance scorers.

Repton Park were in a similarly ruthless mood, thrashing Archers Athletic 6-0 away from home.

Ross Fraser and Jesse Spearing both scored braces, whilst Georgie Groom and Daniel Bishop also weighed in.

M & B Club are in third place after they cruised to a 4-1 success at Lonsdale.

David Ryan’s double was added to by David Gerchen and Jamie Boulaylib; Christopher Batt scoring the Lonsdale goal.

Ainslie Wood started their season with a 3-1 away triumph at CSKA Dynamos.

Marc Cologne, Eric Kelly and Daniel Basstoe shared the goals around for Wood, with Daniel Lane hitting back for the hosts.

Aldborough Hatch emerged 2-1 winners over St Augustines, who scored through Jackson Gregory.

Division Two

In a game with three hat-tricks, Chadwell Grove emerged victors in a 12-goal thriller at Park Tavern.

Faygiun Dawson and Daniel Vearer both hit three for Chadwell, who scored their seventh through Nathan Scarborough.

For Park Tavern, Perry Bruce also bagged a treble, with Charlie Legg and Danny Black chipping in.

Braces for three different players saw Heathside battered Napier 8-2 away from home to rise to the summit on the opening weekend.

Craig Alan Ellis, Mark A J Ellis and Neil Andrews all scored twice, with Joseph Uhama and Sam Owen all netting for Napier.

Thomas Thorpe and Adam Clements scored the hosts’ consolation strikes.

There were also goals aplenty between Wanstead United and Pro Elite Soccer United, who were 4-3 winners on the road.

Adnan Bukhair (2), Abolade Siyanbola and Ricky Ford all scored for Pro Elite, whilst Andrew Hooper (2) and Omari Clarke were the Wanstead marksmen.

Romford Galaxy eked out a 1-0 win at E4 Rangers - Dean Semmens netting the decisive goal.

Flanders played out an entertaining 2-2 draw at Leyton Green, with Kevin Griffith and Matt Hunt scoring for the visitors.

Rilwan Kuku and Elvinas Pupkis got Leyton’s goals.
