Premier Division

With Chingford Celtic’s clash against Warren United cancelled, Greengate took full advantage to extend their lead atop the table to three points.

An 8-3 win at fifth-placed Coral ensured Greengate are now clear at the summit and boast a goal difference of 23 - some 18 better than second-placed Celtic.

Matthew Peacock (2) and Lee Smith got Coral’s consolation strikes.

Third-placed EMWA were held to draw by mid-table Woodbridge, with the two sharing four goals equally.

Jack Eua netted a brace for Woodbridge, whilst there was also a double for EMWA’s George Ashwan.

Elm Park Eagles secured their first win of the season in just their second fixture - beating Morfdown Effect 1-0 away from home.

Division One

Lee Bridges netted a hat-trick to help CSKA Dynamos overcome Lonsdale 5-3 away from home in a goal-laden encounter.

Mark Clare and Francis Okolie added to Bridges’ treble, whilst there was also a hat-trick for Kalium Fletcher of Lonsdale.

The division’s only other fixture ended 5-4 in favour of St Augustines against May & Baker Club.

John Sullivan (2), Luke Diebelius, Danny Murphy and Kevin Rodrigues all scored for St Augustine. Jamie Boulaylib (2), Ebenezer Jolayemi and Michael Jobling hit back for visiting May & Baker.

Division Two

Wanstead United kept up the pace at the top of the league standings, picking up a 2-0 win at home to Heathside.

In second place and two points behind Wanstead, Leyton Green marched to an emphatic 6-0 win over E4 Rangers thanks to two hat-tricks.

Ben Jones and Charlie Saywood were the Leyton marksmen, each notching trebles.

Pro Elite Soccer United lost 3-1 at Chadwell Grove, with Adnan Bukhari grabbing the visitors’ solitary goal.

Corinthian Cup

Alliance United enjoyed a smooth passage into the next round of the Corinthian Cup after winning 5-1 at West Thurrock.

Goals from Nick Hornsby (2), Marc Sewell, Jordan Buck and Jamie Rump carried Alliance through.

Aldborough Hatch were involved in an 11-goal thriller, coming out on top against Spring Farm 7-4. David Neill, Francis O’Brien, Gary Andrew Simpson and Colin Wiles all scored for Spring Farm, but to no avail.

Ainslie Wood replicated their impressive league form with a 4-1 win over Romford Galaxy; Dean Semmens getting Galaxy’s goal.

Repton Park thrashed Warren United Reserves 6-1 away from home, whilst Romford Elite were 4-2 winners at Park Tavern.
