New manager Fabio Liverani takes charge of his first Leyton Orient game tomorrow when they host Peterborough.

The Italian was appointed Orient's fourth manager of the season on Monday after Mauro Milanese moved back to his role as sporting director.

It will be Liverani's first experience of English football and has only managed Genoa's first team for seven matches during his coaching career.

His first job will be to help lift the O's away from the bottom of League One after a dismal first half of the season.

Liverani will hope to have winger Dean Cox available after he was limited to the last 15 minutes of Saturday's defeat at Gillingham after an ankle injury. But former Liverpool defender Andrea Dossena will be out injured for a couple of weeks.

Peterborough return to Brisbane Road for the first time since Orient's unforgettable play-off semi-final win over them back in May.

The Posh made a bright start to the season but have struggled recently with just one point from their last six league matches.
