With the first team's game postponed, FC Leytonstone Reserves took centre stage but contrived to throw away a two-goal lead to draw 3-3 with Bromley.

Fesar Rafiq put Leytonstone in front early on with a top-class finish after being played through by Zulqi Khan, but Bromley quickly equalised after a poor defensive clearance.

Ahmed Pele was outstanding on the left wing, where he tormented the Bromley full-back to make it 2-1 after some brilliant link up play with Rafiq.

Zulqi Khan then put the Lemons 3-1 up after winning and converting a free kick himself.

With Leytonstone 3-1 up it was just a matter of time to run the clock and see off the last eight minutes, but to Bromley’s credit, they did not give up and displayed not little spirit to score twice in eight minutes to salvage a point.

The Under-16s were 8-3 winners over United Youth, with Nasim Kournif scoring a hat-trick.

Kournif’s treble was added to buy strikes from Funsho Ola (2), Carlos Gomes, Teddy Pasan and Ndue Telaj.

There was also a victory for the Under-14s, who overcame Atletico DFC 2-1 thanks to efforts from Owureko Kofi and Adnan Patel.

The Under-9s came from behind to draw 2-2 with Place Pro Under-9s. Finegan Woolley and Nye Bevan were the goal-scorers for the Lemons.
