May & Baker EC 'A' still hold a five-point lead over Chingford Athletic in second after picking up a 3-2 win at Melbourne Sports.

Carl Patten scored a hat-trick for May & Baker, whilst John Shubert scored twice for the home side.

Chingford Athletic kept up the heat by winning 6-1 at Rainham Working Men's Club.

Michael Mignot (2), Jake Edward Mignot, Tobias Hayden and Tom Pearce scored for Chingford, with Antony Ian Holmes netting for Rainham.

Newham Reserves were 2-0 winners at Cranes United, the goals coming from Clovis Clifford and Brandon Dujon.

Chingford Harriers also won on the road, defeating AAH Romford 2-1. Paul Richard Shawyer and Edwin Jabbari were on target for Harriers.

Division One

St Johns Deaf kept up the pressure on league-leaders Blue Marlin with a 1-0 success over Vittoriosa Falcons.

Division Two

Grove United remain a point clear of Cowley Community at the top after a 3-2 win over Newham Royals.

Harry Chalk (2) and Rob Arundall were both on target.

Cowley Community picked up a welcome 4-3 win over Leyton Green, with Izynna Ogedi-uzokwe (2) and Jamie Kavaz hitting the back of the net.

West Essex Reserves were the day's big winners, crushing Canio 6-0 away from home.

Harry Finch (2), Otis Gatehouse, Gary Barnett, Adam Norris and Charles Saunders all netted.

Bradley Routledge scored a hat-trick as Custom House beat St Francis Reserves 4-0. Paul Wooster also bagged.

Blue Marlin progressed with a 2-1 win at London Bari Reserves.

Northend's 3-2 win at Runwell Hospital saw them into round four.
