FC Leytonstone Under-16s hit eight on Saturday as they crushed Juva 8-2 in the Hackney Marshes Saturday Youth League, thanks to hat-tricks from Eduardo Litumbo and Fanshou Olawale.

The deadlock was broken when midfielder Ndue Telaj crashed home from fully 25 yards before Fanshou volleyed home a sumptuous second.

Carlos Gomez soon added the third as the Lemons took the game by the scruff of the neck.

The game could have changed when Leytonstone captain Shiv Tailor was shown a straight red card for handball inside the penalty area but the Lemons held firm.

Litumbo scored the pick off the bunch, collecting possession on the edge of his own 18-yard-box before dribbling beyond a plethora of Juva defenders and firing into the roof of the net.

Leytonstone Under-14s produced a five-star performance to blow Capital Academy away 5-2.

Ahmed Fayz scored two, whilst Zindin, Fayaaz Master and Essa Acha all got in on the act to seal a comprehensive margin of victory.

The outcome was settled before half-time, by which stage Leytonstone already led 4-0, with Capital Academy getting two late goals after the break. The game was well and truly won as Acha converted from the spot to make it five for Leytonstone.

The senior team advanced to the quarter-finals of the London Cup after being awarded an away win against Vale United. The game was to be played in Dulwich
