Premier Division

In the only game played in the division, AAH Romford overcame relegation strugglers St Francis 2-0 to go fourth in the table.

Steven Richards and Ryan Parker grabbed the home side’s goals in a comfortable victory.

The result took Romford level on points with third-placed Jolof Sports Club but they have played three games more than their rivals at this stage.

Division One

Chingford Town Reserves secured what could prove to be a priceless 1-0 win against fellow basement-dwellers Lord Nelson.

James Hooper grabbed the only goal of the game to take Chingford off the bottom of the table and level on points with Lord Nelson.

Glendale sunk to the bottom of the table despite managing a 2-2 draw at seventh-placed Forest Green.

Tashan Benjamin and Romelle Pile’s goals were matched up by Glendale’s Joshua Coppeard and Andreas Nosikovs.

Elsewhere Northend beat Three Colts 1-0 to move five points behind the fifth-placed side.

With five games in hand over third-place Victoria Falcons, and only eight points behind them, Northend have genuine cause for optimism.

Division Two

League-leaders West Essex Reserves blew away Northend Reserves with a 7-2 home win.

Alex Welch, Otis Gatehouse, Adam Norris and a brace apiece for James Bromley and Jack Mcquibban completed the rout.

The division's pace-setters have now scored a league high 59 goals and lead Grove United in second by six points.

Custom House trounced tenth-placed St Francis 4-0 with goals from Robert Webster, Tim Mason and a Jack Field double.

They are now up to fifth in the league and in good form ahead of Saturday’s big game against title-chasing Grove United.

Cowley Community made light work of Dagenham United as they triumphed 4-1 at home.

Fenton Cup

Aaron Ramos Gonzalez scored four times as Chingford Town cruised to a 5-0 victory over Blue Marlin in the only tie of the weekend.
